INACSL Digital Badging

Congratulations on your achievement! We have partnered with Credly to provide you with a digital badge for our ISEP, Cornerstones of Best Practice, and Endorsement programs that you can use to showcase what you’ve accomplished. This digital badge will contain information describing your credential and will allow you to easily share your achievement to LinkedIn and other platforms.

INACSL Simulation Education Program
This badge demonstrates the earner's ability to integrate the Healthcare Standards of Best Practice into curricula to advance the science of simulation, demonstrate effective simulation design principles to facilitate learner-centered, simulation-based experiences, generate evaluation strategies to determine the impact on patient, participant and systems outcomes, and participate in leadership and scholarship activities to advance the science of simulation.

Cornerstones of Best Practice
This badge demonstrates the earner's ability to examine the criteria and required elements of HSSOBP for Core Four Endorsement, reference the HSSOBP while analyzing their own simulation program to identify gaps within their program, and identify strategies to integrate and apply HSSOBP within their own simulation program to prepare for Core Four Endorsement.

This badge recognizes healthcare institution and practices that have demonstrated excellence in applying all four simulation standards from the Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice in their educational simulation programs.

FAQs

What is a digital badge?
A digital badge is a visual representation of a verified achievement. Badges are issued, accessed, and displayed online, and can be shared on social media channels, personal profiles and resumes.

What badges are currently available?

There are currently three badges available. The INACSL Simulation Education Program (ISEP) badge, the Cornerstones of Best Practice badge, and the INACSL’s Healthcare Simulation Standards Endorsement meetings badge. The badges are awarded to those who completed the ISEP course, completed the Cornerstones of Best Practice modules, or applied and got selected for Endorsement.

How do I earn a badge?
INACSL Simulation Education Program (ISEP):
  • You must register for a cohort, complete all twelve modules, and submit the final proposal.
  • Once the course is completed, you will be sent instructions to access your digital badge.
Cornerstones of Best Practice:
  • You must register for the course and complete all four modules.
  • Once the modules are completed, you will be sent instructions to access your digital badge.
INACSL’s Healthcare Simulation Standards Endorsement:
  • You must submit a letter for intent and an application by the deadlines found here.
  • If selected, your organization will receive 10 digital badges. Additional badges can be purchased.

Where can I see my badge?
INACSL is partnering with credentialing vendor Credly to issue badges. Upon completion of badge requirements, you will be issued a badge via Credly and will be invited to claim it. Once you do so, you’ll create a Credly profile and you will be able to access and view your badge on your Credly profile page. If you’ve received a badge on Credly before, be sure to use the same email address so that all your badges appear as part of the same profile. Additionally, you can share the badge on social media, display it on your LinkedIn profile, and download or embed the badge to use in other locations such as on a personal website or within your company platforms.
