LET'S TALK SIM PODCASTINACSL is excited to announce the launch of our first-ever podcast series, Let's Talk SIM! Each episode will feature an interview with innovators in the field of simulation to discuss new methodologies, the current and future state of the field, learning resources, and inspiring stories. INACSL is dedicated to advancing the science of healthcare simulation, and this podcast is an extension of our passion for simulation. Listen on Spotify
Meet Our Season Three Podcast HostLori Greer, MSN, RN, CHSE is the Simulation Coordinator for the Holli Counts and Joseph Grendy's Family Simulation Center at Erlanger Health in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She has had the privilege of serving in the roles of simulation coordinator and nursing faculty in her previous work at the University of Texas at Tyler School of Nursing and LeTourneau University School of Nursing in Longview, Texas. Her passion for simulation began in 2005, when she was first introduced to a high-fidelity simulator and incorporated this experience into her capstone project in graduate school. She has been a member of the INACSL Membership Committee for several years and is also a member of the Deans, Directors, and Managers SIG and part of the new Fireside Chat Committee. Season ThreeEpisode One: Scenario Design 101: Meeting the StandardsKicking off season three of Let’s Talk SIM, host Lori Greer, MSN, RN, CHSE meets with Jane Paige, RN, PhD, CNE, CHSE, Professor and Program Director at the Milwaukee School of Nursing to discuss the mechanics of building scenarios. Listen as they touch on the Review Tool for Evaluating the Design and Implementation of Simulations using Best Practices, interprofessional simulation scenarios, and advice for those developing training programs. Episode Two: Critical Conversations in SimulationListen as host Lori Greer, MSN, RN, CHSE touches on critical conversations in healthcare simulation with guest Mary Fey, PhD, RN, CHSE-A, FAAN, ANEF in the second episode of season three.
