Volunteer NowISEP FacilitatorsFacilitators for the INACSL Simulation Education Program (ISEP) program assist in teaching and coordinating students through a comprehensive, online program that incorporates participant discussion boards and video sessions. Standing Committees & Sub-CommitteesStanding Committees and sub-committees are established as necessary to carry on the work of INACSL. The term of office for all appointed positions shall be two (2) years or until their successors are selected. Committee Chairs and members may serve no more than two (2) consecutive terms on the same committee unless an exception is requested. Terms usually start in June, at the conclusion of the annual conference, and end the following June. Committee Chairs and Vice-ChairsEach committee has a Chair and Vice-Chair. Chairs and Vice-Chairs are approved annually by the President of INACSL in consultation with the Board of Directors. Elected PositionsMembers of the Board of Directors and Nominations & Elections Committee are elected annually on a rotating schedule. Applications are accepted each fall for terms starting in June, at the conclusion of the annual meeting. All individual INACSL members are eligible to hold office if they meet one (1) or more of the following criteria:
Board of DirectorsThe Board of Directors is the principal governing body of INACSL. The Board of Directors provides mission-based leadership and vision, strategic governance, and succession planning. Directors ensure implementation of strategic initiatives and responsibilities as determined by consensus of the Board of Directors. Directors act as Board Liaisons to Committees, overseeing Committee Chairs within their responsibility to ensure the work of each committee is carried out and identifying committee recommendations that should be presented to the Board of Directors. Each Director provides leadership for succession planning for their position, as well as the position of the Committee Chairs for which they are responsible. Directors serve a term of two (2) years and can be re-elected for a second term. Nominations & Elections CommitteeThe Nominations and Elections Committee is responsible for annually soliciting names of members who are interested in running for office through a virtual nomination process and preparing a slate of candidates for each elective office. Members of this committee serve a term of two (2) years. |
